GOODWILL has organised a series of ‘Capacity building programmes for GLI networkers and NGO Administrators on the theme ‘NGO good governance’ and ‘Capacity building of peace’ for school children under the theme “Children have a right to peace” during August-September 2007. These programmes have been organised with the generous financial help offered by one of GLI’s Trustees. GOODWILL has created two web albums containing photos of the above programmes.

Following the success of the above capacity building programmes organised for around 50 NGO Administrators and GLI networkers in this region, it is greatly being realised the need to organise a series of such programmes to cater to the growing needs of many NGOs in the state of Tamilnadu who are at the start-up or nascent stage,development or emerging stage and expaning,growth or consolidation stage.Our records show that there are many GLI networkers in Tamilnadu whose organisations are mostly at the nascent and emerging stage. Obviously enough, there is an imperative need for building the institutional capacity of these organisations. Knowing its importance the GLI and GOODWILL have proposed to conduct a series of Capacity building training programmes on a regular basis for GLI networking organisations/NGOs in Tamilnadu,India.
