About GSWC

GSWC as Goodwill Social Work Centre is shortly called is registered under:

  • Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975 and Foreign Contributions (Regulations) Act 1976
  • section 12(a) of the Income Tax Act, Government of India

GSWC is a member of

  • the International Forum for Child Welfare, [IFCW], Child Rights Information Network [CRIN], U.K and ENSCW, Belgium
  • World Association for Non-Governmental Organisation (WANGO), USA.

Our Society’s Registration number is: 112/1981 and our FCRA number is: 075940124. Our organisation is a registered member of the Civil Society Organisation {CSO} Constituency of the India CCM (www.indiaccm.org). The Centre is highly professional in its approach and its methods are underpinned by a strong academic research ethos.

Global Links Initiative(www.glinet.org) into a partnership with Goodwill from 6th October 2007

GSWC is highly professional in its approach and its methods are underpinned by a strong academic research ethos. Highly impressed by the professionalism in GOODWILL’s governance and management of programmes,the Global Links Initiative(www.glinet.org) ,a registered company and a charity in the United Kingdom has entered into a partnership agreement with GOODWILL on 6th October 2007 to work together to provide services and capacity building programmes for GLI Networkers in Tamilnadu, now numbering over 350. Goodwill is taking on the role of GLI representative and ambassador in serving the needs of GLI Networkers and local NGOs in Tamilnadu.

GSWC has:

  • taken over GLI’s English website updates recording the inspiring stories of local GLI Networkers, news of their projects & activities

GSWC’s founder Prof.Dr.Christopher Daniel is the GLI’s Tamilnadu Representative in India.
